Grain mostly lower, livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery declined 10.25 cents to $4.9725 a bushel; December corn fell 1.75 cents to 3.8150 a bushel; December oats were off 3.75 cents to 2.2625 a bushel; while November soybeans rose 4.25 cents to $8.68 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle was off 1.75 cents to $1.34 a pound; October feeder cattle fell 2.27 cents to $1.8010 a pound; while December lean hogs gained 1.60 cents to $.6582 a pound.
