GoPro: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
SAN MATEO, Calif. (AP) _ GoPro Inc. (GPRO) on Thursday reported a loss of $11.3 million in its second quarter.
The San Mateo, California-based company said it had a loss of 8 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 3 cents per share.
The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 4 cents per share.
The action video camera maker posted revenue of $292.4 million in the period, also falling short of Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $301.3 million.
GoPro shares have climbed 19% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $5.03, a decrease of 18% in the last 12 months.
