Latrobe woman charged with assault by pulling hair, slamming head on pavement
A Latrobe woman is charged with assault after allegedly grabbing another woman by the hair, pulling her out of a vehicle and slamming her head on the pavement.
Lisa Kay Fannon, 40, had not been arraigned on allegations filed Wednesday by state police.
Fannon was arguing Tuesday with the 21-year-old victim in Unity Township before the assault, police said.
Fannon then took the victim’s cellphone and left in a vehicle, police said.
She was charged with theft, simple assault and harassment and is awaiting a preliminary hearing before District Judge Michael Mahady.
Fannon in 2014 was convicted of reckless endangerment and driving under the influence for a 2010 crash in which Richard Warren II, 31, a passenger in her vehicle, was killed.
