Pacers lose Stuckey for 4-6 weeks with injured left knee
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indiana Pacers will be without backup guard Rodney Stuckey for four to six weeks with a strained left patellar tendon.
Stuckey is the third key player the Pacers have lost at a crucial stretch.
Indiana has just nine games remaining in the regular season, including Tuesday's matchup against Minnesota.
George scores 21 to lead Pacers to 6th straight win
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indiana Pacers remain one of the hottest teams in the NBA, and they've put the Eastern Conference on notice since the calendar turned to 2017.
Paul George led Indiana with 21 points, but it was a balanced attack that allowed the Pacers (28-22) to move a season-best six games over .500 and extend their season-best winning streak to six games with a 105-84 victory over the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night.
George’s Double-Double Leads Pacers Over Nets 106-97
NEW YORK (AP) — Paul George and Jeff Teague carried Indiana down the stretch for a road win in Brooklyn.
George scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, Teague had 24 points and the Indiana Pacers beat the Brooklyn Nets 106-97 on Friday night.
Teague gave the Pacers a 100-95 lead on a layup with 1:21 left and then iced the game 50 seconds later with a steal and two free throws that made it an eight-point game.
George, Teague score 19 to lead Pacers over Knicks, 123-109
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Jeff Teague is providing the boost behind Indiana's surging offense.
"Jeff to me is the MVP of this five-game win streak," veteran center Al Jefferson said. "He's getting everyone involved and setting the tone."
Teague and Paul George each scored 19 points to lead the Pacers to a 123-109 victory over the New York Knicks on Saturday night.
Zeller’s move to center paying dividends for Hornets
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Cody Zeller's unplanned move to center is paying major dividends for the Charlotte Hornets.
When Al Jefferson went down last season with an injury, coach Steve Clifford asked the 7-foot, 240-pound Zeller to fill in by shifting from power forward to the 5 spot. Zeller played so well that Clifford decided to keep him there even after Jefferson returned.
Pacers will face Warriors without Paul George, Myles Turner
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indiana Pacers are facing the Golden State Warriors on Monday night without three-time All-Star forward Paul George or starting center Myles Turner.
George has missed three of the last five games with a sore left ankle. Turner injured his ankle during Sunday night's victory at Oklahoma City, and coach Nate McMillan said the decision to sit Turner was made after he tried to warm up.
