Tajouri-Shradi scores twice, NYCFC beats Toronto 3-2
TORONTO (AP) — Ismael Tajouri-Shradi scored his second goal of the game in the 88th minute to give New York City FC a 3-2 victory over Toronto FC on Sunday.
The New York City attacker drove a left-footed volley past diving goalkeeper Alex Bono's for his 10th goal of the season. David Villa also scored for New York City (14-5-5).
NYCFC, Atlanta United play to 1-1 draw
NEW YORK (AP) — Alexander Callens tied it in the 77th minute and New York City FC settled for a 1-1 draw with Atlanta United on Saturday in a matchup of two of the top Eastern Conference teams.
Callens scored on a header to finish David Villa's header flick of Maximiliano Moralez's corner.
NYCFC (8-3-4) had two shots crash off the post after the 80th minute and finished the game with a 10-2 advantage in shots on target.
Red Bulls roll past NYCFC 4-0 in NY Derby
HARRISON, N.J. (AP) — Alejandro Romero "Kaku" Gamarra had a goal and two assists to help the New York Red Bulls dominate crosstown rival New York City FC 4-0 in the NY Derby on Saturday.
The Red Bulls (5-3-0) opened the scoring in the second minute when an outstretched Sean Johnson deflected Bradley Wright-Phillips' shot into Kaku's path for a putback.
Two minutes later, Kaku sent a through ball to Florian Valot, who punched it through with a deflection off defender Alexander Callens.
Columbus takes advantage of short-handed NYCFC 4-1
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Artur started a three-goal outburst in the second half shortly after New York City FC went down a man and the Columbus Crew won the first leg of the Eastern Conference semifinals 4-1 on Tuesday night.

The game was moved to Pratt & Whitney Stadium because of a scheduling conflict at Yankee Stadium.

NYC (10-5-3) tied a club record with its fourth straight victory. Minnesota (5-10-3) remains winless on the road.
Chanot, Callens score late, NYCFC tops Union 2-1
NEW YORK (AP) — Maxime Chanot and Alexander Callens scored their first goals of the season, both off corners in the final 10 minutes, to rally New York FC to a 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Union on Saturday.
Chanot rose between two defenders and headed the ball inside the near post off the corner from Maximiliano Morzlez to tie the game in the 80th minute.
