MILAN (AP) — Top-seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas of Greece will face Australian teenager Alex de Minaur in the championship match of the Next Gen Finals on Saturday.
Both players had only dropped a set apiece in their first three matches at the tournament but each needed five sets to win their respective semifinals on Friday.
"I know it is going to be tough, so I'm going to have to be prepared for that. I'm going to have to be 100 percent," Tsitsipas said.
WASHINGTON (AP) — Alexander Zverev is back in the final at the Citi Open.
The defending champion beat 10th-seeded Stefanos Tsitsipas 6-2, 6-4 in the semifinals Saturday. The top-seeded German is looking to become the first back-to-back winner of the hard-court U.S. Open tuneup since Juan Martin del Potro in 2008 and 2009.
Zverev has won 15 of 17 career matches in Washington.
MONACO (AP) — Alexander Zverev, Grigor Dimitrov and Dominic Thiem all came from a set down to win their second-round matches at the Monte Carlo Masters on Tuesday.
The third-seeded Zverev won 4-6, 6-3, 6-2 against big-serving Gilles Muller, after the fourth-seeded Dimitrov had rallied to beat Pierre-Hugues Herbert 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 and the fifth-seeded Thiem saved a match point in his 5-7, 7-5, 7-5 win against Andrey Rublev of Russia.
Goffin to face Gasquet in Open Sud de France semis
MONTPELLIER, France (AP) — Top seed David Goffin did not face a break point as he beat qualifier Karen Khachanov 6-4, 6-4 on Friday to reach the semifinals of the Open Sud de France.
Goffin, who had an excellent season last year capped by a runners-up spot at the ATP Finals, next meets triple champion Richard Gasquet.
Gasquet got off to a slow start against fourth seed Damir Dzumhur but eventually progressed 6-4, 6-2 at the indoor tournament. He was 4-1 down before winning 11 of the last 13 games.
Top-seeded Goffin reaches Open Sud de France quarterfinals
MONTPELLIER, France (AP) — Top-seeded David Goffin of Belgium reached the quarterfinals of the Open Sud de France on Wednesday by beating French veteran Gilles Simon 6-4, 6-2.
The 33-year-old Simon had won two of their three previous matches but dropped his serve six times. Goffin next plays Ricardas Berankis of Lithuania or Karen Khachanov, who played their second-round match on Thursday.
Monfils wins Qatar Open in 4th appearance in final
DOHA, Qatar (AP) — Gael Monfils won the Qatar Open title on his fourth appearance in the final with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Andrey Rublev of Russia on Saturday.
The 46th-ranked Monfils, a former top-10 player, lost previous finals at the tournament to Roger Federer in 2006, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in 2012, and Rafael Nadal in 2014.
"I've been very close and finally I get it," Monfils said after winning his seventh career title.
Rublev to play Monfils in Doha Open final
DOHA, Qatar (AP) — Andrey Rublev of Russia saved a match point to reach his second career ATP Tour final with a 6-2, 4-6, 7-6 (2) win over Guido Pella of Argentina at the Qatar Open.
The 39th-ranked Rublev has had trouble with his serve throughout the tournament. He posted 11 double faults in Friday's match, and 33 overall in the four matches he's played this week.

Rublev was only in the Umag Open in Croatia as a lucky loser, after losing in qualifying, but he went on to the final and beat Paolo Lorenzi in straight sets in July.
Rafael Nadal advances to quarterfinals of China Open
BEIJING (AP) — Rafael Nadal earned his season-leading 58th victory on Thursday by beating Karen Khachanov 6-3, 6-3 to reach the quarterfinals of the China Open.
The top-ranked Spaniard, who won the French Open and U.S. Open this year, saved all six break points he faced and increased his lead over Roger Federer at the top of the rankings.
Nadal will next face John Isner. The big-serving American defeated Leonardo Mayer 6-0, 6-3.
Lorenzi, Rublev advance to final at Croatia Open
UMAG, Croatia (AP) — Fourth-seeded Paolo Lorenzi of Italy and lucky loser Andrey Rublev of Russia reached the final of the Croatia Open on Saturday.
In an all-Italian semifinal, Lorenzi knocked out Alessandro Giannessi 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. Lorenzi seeks his second ATP title.
After winning the first set, Lorenzi wasted a 4-2 lead in the second. He enjoyed a more commanding lead in the decisive set at 5-2 and waltzed in.
Qualifier De Schepper upsets Paire at Croatia Open
UMAG, Croatia (AP) — Qualifier Kenny De Schepper upset another Frenchman, seventh-seeded Benoit Paire, to advance to the second round of the Croatia Open on Tuesday with a 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 win.
Paire struggled with his serve, producing a total of 11 double faults, and was broken eight times by his 148th-ranked opponent.
Eighth-seeded Jiri Vesely of the Czech Republic made the second round after a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Norbert Gombos of Slovakia.
HALLE, Germany (AP) — Roger Federer advanced to the semifinals of the Gerry Weber Open for the 13th time by beating defending champion Florian Mayer 6-3, 6-4 Friday.
Federer, an eight-time champion in Halle, had 11 aces, saved both break points he faced and converted two of his own to maintain his bid for a 16th grass-court title.
