The team announced the deal Friday, an agreement that guarantees $3.5 million this season.
He can earn $250,000 each for 350, 400, 450, 500, 550 and 600 plate appearances, and $1 million for 650.

CHICAGO (AP) — Reliever Alex Colome was acquired by the Chicago White Sox from the payroll-shedding Seattle Mariners on Friday for catcher Omar Narvaez.
The White Sox also declined to offer contracts to outfielder Avisail Garcia and Matt Davidson, allowing the pair to become free agents. And they agreed to a $1.55 million, one-year deal with outfielder Leury Garcia.

CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago White Sox say outfielder Avisail Garcia has had surgery on his right knee.
Limited to 93 games because of discomfort in the knee, Garcia went from batting .330 in a breakout All-Star season in 2017 to .236 this year. The team announced Monday he had surgery.
The White Sox also said catcher Kevan Smith had ankle surgery and pitcher Tyler Danish has refused his outright assignment, making him a free agent.

It was Chicago's first three-game sweep since Aug. 8-10, 2017 against Houston. The White Sox's last three-game road sweep occurred April 25-27, 2016 at Toronto.

CHICAGO (AP) — The Chicago White Sox have activated All-Star outfielder Avisail Garcia and placed third baseman Matt Davidson on the 10-day disabled list because of a bruised right wrist.
The White Sox announced the moves before Tuesday's game against the AL West-leading Houston Astros.
A first-time All-Star, Garcia had been sidelined since July 25 because of a strained ligament in his right thumb. He was batting .303 with 13 home runs and 54 RBIs.
