PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Lamarr Kimble made a deep 3-pointer with 0.5 seconds left to give Saint Joseph's a 45-42 victory over Loyola-Chicago on Saturday night.
Kimble, a third-year captain who has battled injury problems the last two seasons, had the lane open yet pulled up for the game-winning shot that hit nothing but net. Following a timeout, the Ramblers threw the ball full court but weren't able to get off a shot.

CHICAGO (AP) — Cameron Krutwig scored 18 points and Loyola-Chicago rolled to a 75-47 victory over Division III Benedictine on Tuesday night.
It was the second-straight blowout win for Loyola-Chicago (7-5), which beat Norfolk State 80-49 on Sunday following a 55-41 loss at then-No. 23 Maryland on Dec. 8.
Krutwig was 8 of 10 from the field. Clayton Custer added 11 points and seven assists, and Franklin Agunanne chipped in with a career-best 10 points for the Ramblers.

CHICAGO (AP) — Clayton Custer scored 21 points on 7-of-9 long-range shooting and Loyola Chicago used a dominant first half to defeat Norfolk State 80-49 on Sunday.
Custer hit four treys and was one of three players in double figures as the Ramblers (6-5) shot 65 percent and rolled to a 46-15 lead at the half. Loyola used runs of 11-0, 12-0 and 8-0 to outscore the Spartans, who shot 22 percent, 31-4 over the last 12 minutes.
Loyola Chicago beats crosstown rival UIC 73-64
CHICAGO (AP) — Clayton Custer, Cameron Krutwig, and Marques Townes each scored 16 points and Loyola Chicago rolled to a 73-64 victory over Illinois-Chicago on Saturday.
Loyola Chicago (5-3) broke a two-game skid that included a 79-65 loss to No. 5 Nevada, and has won six straight and 11 of 12 against crosstown rival UIC (3-5).
Custer was 7-of-13 shooting, and Townes and Krutwig each made six field goals. Cooper Kaifes chipped in 12 points for the Ramblers, who shot 57 percent from the floor.

CHICAGO (AP) — Bruno Skokna made a key steal with 10 seconds left and Marques Townes secured it with 1 of 2 free throws as Loyola-Chicago beat Wright State 84-80 in the season opener for both teams on Friday night.
The Ramblers led for the entire second half but never pulled away and Wright State was able to close within two on Mark Hughes' 3-pointer with 26 seconds left.
