HOUSTON (AP) — Mauro Manotas and Philippe Senderos both scored in stoppage time to help the Houston Dynamo to a 2-2 tie with Los Angeles FC on Tuesday night.
The opening kickoff was delayed more than 90 minutes due to lightning in the area.
Senderos made it 2-2 in the sixth minute of stoppage time when his volley of a header by Alberth Elis deflected off defender Mark-Anthony Kaye into the net.

HOUSTON (AP) — Tomas Martinez scored in the 30th minute and the Houston Dynamo beat the Colorado Rapids 2-0 on Saturday night to snap a two-game losing streak.
Martinez stole the ball from Johan Blomberg, split two more defensemen and launched a shot with his left foot that Tim Howard saved. But the ball returned to Martinez off the ricochet and he punched it in off the rebound with his right past an off-balance Howard.

HOUSTON (AP) — Cristian Penilla had a goal and an assist, and the New England Revolution beat the 10-man Houston Dynamo 2-0 on Saturday night.
Teal Bunbury opened the scoring in the 15th minute for New England (2-1-1), finishing a 4-on-2 break sprung by Penilla's takeaway.
Houston's DaMarcus Beasley was sent off in the 35th minute for the denial of an obvious goal scoring opportunity. Beasley took down Penilla, who was on a breakaway.

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — After Houston's Dylan Remick scored he gestured to the Portland crowd with a "Who me?" shrug.
Remick had just learned earlier in the day that he was starting for the Dynamo for the second leg of the Western Conference semifinal against the top-seeded Timbers.
His first-half goal gave the Dynamo a crucial advantage and Houston went on to beat the Timbers 2-1 Sunday night to advance to the conference final. It was just the second goal of his career.
