Parker scores 15 to lead Marist past Monmouth 75-67
WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. (AP) — Brian Parker scored 15 points in leading a balanced Marist attack and the Red Foxes beat Monmouth 75-67 on Sunday for their fourth straight win.
Marist (12-14, 7-7 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) now has won five of its last six. Darius Hines scored 14 points, Isaiah Lamb 12 and Ryan Funk 11. Five other players entered the scoring column for Marist.
Funk scores 25 to lead Marist over Niagara 79-58
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) — Ryan Funk had 25 points as Marist easily defeated Niagara 79-58 on Friday night.
Funk shot 9 for 12 from the field, including 7 of 9 on 3-pointers.
Darius Hines had 12 points and six assists for Marist (10-14, 5-7 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). Aleksandar Dozic added 11 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.
Marist posted a season-high 21 assists.
Niagara scored 28 second-half points, a season low for the team.
Lamb, Funk lead Marist’s victory over Iona
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) — Isaiah Lamb scored 15 points and Ryan Funk twice made three free throws to help Marist defeat Iona 78-74 on Thursday night.
Marist led by 10 or more points for much of the second half. Iona was within 67-62 with 3:21 remaining before the Red Foxes pushed the lead to 10 once more when Funk made three free throws with 2:25 to go. The Gaels put together another rally and were within two after a pair of free throws by Rickey McGill with 29 seconds left.
Jordan helps Rider take down Marist 86-85

JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) — Davauhnte Turner scored 22 points, Samuel Idowu added 14 points and nine rebounds and Saint Peter's defeated Marist 72-63 on Sunday in the Peacocks' first game versus their former head coach, John Dunne.
Dunne coached the Peacocks (5-11, 2-2 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) for 12 years before taking over at Marist (6-9, 1-2) last April.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) — Takal Molson scored 19 points, Jibreel Faulkner added career highs of 18 points and four 3-pointers and Canisius defeated Marist 75-72 in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference opener Thursday night.
Ryan Funk made Marist's 11th 3-pointer of the game to get the Red Foxes (5-8) within three with 23 seconds left. Two missed free throws by Molson gave Marist a chance to tie, but Darius Hines missed a well-contested 3-pointer from the baseline.

BELFAST, Northern Ireland (AP) — Brian Parker scored 18 points with six assists, Ryan Funk added four 3-pointers and 14 points and Marist defeated Dartmouth 76-58 on Thursday in the Basketball Hall of Fame Belfast Classic.
The Red Foxes (2-4) will face LIU Brooklyn, an 80-77 winner over Albany, in the championship game of the Samson Bracket on Friday. Dartmouth will play Albany.
