Chargers look to regroup after loss to Broncos
LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Los Angeles Chargers remain in strong position for a playoff spot at 7-3, but injuries on defense and special teams struggles are concerns for coach Anthony Lynn.
Los Angeles lost a defensive starter for the second straight week when Corey Liuget suffered a season-ending knee injury during the second quarter of Sunday's 23-22 loss to the Denver Broncos. He is the third starter who will be headed to injured reserve, joining linebackers Kyzir White and Denzel Perryman.

NEW YORK (AP) — Chicago Bears defensive end Akiem Hicks has been fined $33,425 by the NFL for bumping an official in last Sunday's win over Tampa Bay.
Hicks was not suspended although he was ejected from the Bucs game.
Hicks pushed down judge Mike Carr while he was attempting to separate Hicks and Buccaneers guard Ali Marpet after Eddie Jackson intercepted a pass.
Ware misses 4th straight game as Broncos face Chargers

The first symptom was a sore throat, and Darius Philon thought little of it. He kept practicing, kept preparing for the first Monday Night Football game of his career. It’d take more to slow him down.
The second was hip stiffness. Still, Philon carried on, a full participant in every practice. Maybe a chiropractor could loosen it up, he thought. No. On Sunday morning, the Chargers rookie was added to the injury report, listed as questionable to face the...
