Car chase suspect shot by Connecticut police dies
HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A car chase suspect who was shot by Connecticut police officers last week has died.
A lawyer for the family of 31-year-old Juan McCray confirmed Friday that McCray died at a hospital Thursday after being taken off life support.
East Hartford officers shot McCray after a chase into Glastonbury on Feb. 4.
National retailers to close hundreds of stores; Ann Taylor, Dress Barn, Loft, Lane Bryant, Justice, Catherines, Gymboree affected
Two more national retailers with several stores in Charleston will slash their store numbers to offset the decline in foot traffic in the era of online sales.
Ascena Retail Group, which owns Ann Taylor, Dress Barn, Loft, Lane Bryant and others, plans to shutter between 250 and 650 locations over the next two years, while children's clothing store Gymboree will shut the doors on 375 to 450 stores.
