Nielsen says just under 20 million watched Grammy Awards
PASADENA, Calif. (AP) — Nearly 20 million people watched Childish Gambino and Kacey Musgraves earn four trophies each at the Grammy Awards, about the same audience as the annual music show had last year.
The Nielsen company on Monday estimated the Grammy audience size at 19.9 million. The 2018 audience of 19.8 million had been the Grammys' smallest audience in a decade.

An obituary posted by Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville, Tennessee, says Parton died last Thursday. He was 61.
Like his sister, Floyd Parton was a songwriter and composer. His most famous songs were "Rockin' Years," which was recorded by his sister and Ricky Van Shelton, and "Nickels and Dimes," which was also recorded by his sister and later by George Burns.

Country star Roy Clark, the guitar virtuoso and singer who headlined the cornpone TV show "Hee Haw" for nearly a quarter century and was known for such hits as "Yesterday When I was Young" and "Honeymoon Feeling," has died. He was 85.
Publicist Jeremy Westby said Clark died Thursday due to complications from pneumonia at home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

NEW YORK (AP) — Julianne Hough is the other woman. She will play Jolene in Netflix's upcoming anthology series based on Dolly Parton's music.
"Dolly Parton's Heartstrings" will consist of eight episodes, each inspired by one of Parton's songs.

The expansion is called Wildwood Grove and is planned to open next year.

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (AP) — Country singer Dolly Parton has discarded "Dixie" from the name of a popular dinner show. From now on, the attraction will simply be known as Dolly Parton's Stampede.
