Coach: Texas A&M QB Starkel out with broken ankle
COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) — Texas A&M quarterback Nick Starkel and senior free safety Donovan Wilson are out for perhaps the rest of the season after having surgery for leg injuries.
Coach Kevin Sumlin disclosed the injuries Monday on his weekly radio show. Starkel, a redshirt freshman, broke his left ankle in the third quarter of Sunday's 45-44 loss at UCLA. Wilson had a screw put in his left foot.
Bowling Green holds on to beat Buffalo in season finale
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) — Fred Coppet rushed for 160 yards and two touchdowns, including a 52-yarder, and Bowling Green survived a wild finish to beat Buffalo 27-19 in both teams' season finale on Friday.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (AP) — Donovan Wilson, Josh Cleveland and Fred Coppet each had least 100 yards rushing and combined for four touchdowns to help Bowling Green run past Kent State for a 42-7 win on Tuesday night.
It was the first time since 1978 that Bowling Green had three 100-yard rushers in the same game.
Wilson, who came in with 250 yards rushing this season, finished with a career-high 146 yards and two touchdowns. Cleveland added 131 yards and Coppet ran for 105.
Falcons hold on to beat Akron 38-28

It wasn’t conventional, and it may have involved some luck, but the Bowling Green Falcons found a way to win Wednesday night.
A game that looked all but wrapped up by halftime, Bowling Green let Akron have life again before hanging on for a 38-28 win over the Zips in a Mid-American Conference game at InfoCision Stadium.
Wilson, Coppet lead Bowling Green past Akron 38-28
AKRON, Ohio (AP) — Donovan Wilson ran for 119 yards and a touchdown and Fred Coppet had 116 and two scores to help Bowling Green turn back Akron 38-28 on Wednesday night.
Wilson, who entered the game with 131 yards, scored on a 22-yard run with 2:12 left — one play after the Zips failed to cover the kickoff following the Falcons' tiebreaking field goal.
A 76-yard fumble return by Marcus Milton gave Bowling Green (2-8, 1-5 Mid-American), the defending league champions, a 28-10 lead.

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — Texas A&M strong safety Donovan Wilson has been ejected for targeting.
Wilson appeared to deliver a hit to Alabama tailback Damien Harris's head on an interception return in the second quarter. Harris was trying to tackle linebacker Claude George in Alabama territory when he was hit. George had picked off a pass from Jalen Hurts.
