Spanish league’s 2nd-division games to be shown on YouTube
MADRID (AP) — The Spanish league says it will begin broadcasting second-division games on YouTube.
The league said on Thursday that its YouTube channel will provide the matches with live English commentary in more than 150 countries in "major markets" in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas, "bringing the competition to large global territories where no previous transmission had been in place."
The broadcasts will begin with Friday night's match between Cadiz and Granada.
Spanish club Malaga fires Gonzalez after 4th straight loss
MADRID (AP) — Malaga picked former player Jose Gonzalez on Saturday to replace fired coach Michel Gonzalez, who was let go after the team's fourth straight loss in the Spanish league.
The moves came a day after a 1-0 loss at Getafe that kept Malaga 19th in the 20-team standings.
Malaga has lost every game since early December, earning only 11 points from 19 league matches.
GRANADA, Spain (AP) — Granada said farewell to six seasons in Spain's first division with a 2-1 loss at home to Espanyol on Friday.
Granada was relegated three rounds ago. It finished the season on an eight-match losing streak, the last seven of which came under the orders of former Arsenal captain Tony Adams.

MADRID (AP) — Former Arsenal captain Tony Adams took charge of struggling Spanish team Granada on Monday, seeking to improve a coaching career that has failed to match his achievements as a player.
Adams is widely regarded as a great at Arsenal, where he made 669 appearances as a center back from 1983-2002, was captain for 14 years and won 10 major trophies. He also played 66 times for England's national team.
