Dougie Hamilton broke a tie at 7:57 of the third period and Calgary beat the St. Louis Blues 2-1 on Wednesday night.
"Believe in what we're doing and if we're playing well, the wins are going to come," Hamilton said. "We just have to stick with it and we've done that and got rewarded the last two games."
Blues place forward Jaden Schwartz on injured reserve
ST. LOUIS (AP) — The St. Louis Blues have placed forward Jaden Schwartz on injured reserve with a right ankle injury, and he will re-evaluated in six weeks.
The Blues made the move Sunday, hours ahead of their game against the Sabres. Schwartz suffered the injury during the Blues' 6-1 win in Detroit on Saturday. He was tied for ninth in the NHL with 35 points (14 goals, 21 assists) and ranked second with a plus-23 rating through 30 games for the Central Division-leading Blues.
Blues bring Stastny back at center for Game 5 vs. Wild
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — St. Louis Blues center Paul Stastny has returned to the first line to make his debut in Game 5 of the first-round playoff series against Minnesota, after missing the last 14 games because of an upper-body injury.
The Blues scratched rookie Ivan Barbashev to make room in the lineup Saturday against the Wild. The 11-year veteran Stastny, who had 18 goals and 22 assists in 66 games during the regular season, was injured on March 21.
