ATLANTA (AP) — Jamauri Bogan and LeVante Bellamy combined for almost 250 yards rushing as Western Michigan rolled over Georgia State 34-15 on Saturday afternoon.
Bogan carried 15 times, racking up 126 yards and one touchdown. Bellamy had 21 carries for 121 yards. Jayden Reed pulled in seven passes for 101 yards and a score. Jon Wassink threw for 234 yards and three TDs for Western Michigan (2-2).

Western Michigan starting quarterback Jon Wassink will miss between six and eight weeks with a broken collarbone, coach Tim Lester announced Tuesday.
Wassink was injured in Saturday's 20-17 overtime victory over Eastern Michigan.
He will be replaced by freshman Reece Goddard, a 6-foot-2, 210-pounder from Missouri.
Western Michigan (5-3, 3-1 Mid-American Conference) gets a little extra time to prepare for its next game, at home against rival Central Michigan in Kalamazoo at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1.
Akron holds off Western Michigan 14-13 a day after rainout
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) — Thomas Woodson threw a TD pass, Manny Morgan ran in another score and Akron held off Western Michigan 14-13 on Sunday.
The homecoming game was supposed to be played Saturday but was postponed because of heavy rain and lightning.
Woodson made it 7-0 with a 13-yard pass to Kobie Booker in the opening quarter. Morgan's 1-yard run in the second period gave the Zips (4-3, 3-0 Mid-Atlantic Conference) a 14-0 lead.
Western Michigan dominates Ball State 55-3 in MAC opener
KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) — Obbie Jackson returned a fumble 21 yards for a touchdown on the opening kickoff and Western Michigan never looked back in a 55-3 romp over Ball State on Saturday night.
Jackson ignited a 31-point first half that included a 12-yard scoring strike from Jon Wassink to Keishawn Watson, TD runs from LeVant Bellamy and Jarvion Franklin and a 43-yard field goal by Josh Grant.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) — Jon Wassink threw a career-high three touchdown passes, Jamauri Bogan and Jarvi Franklin both ran for more than 100 yards and Western Michigan rolled to a 49-14 win over Wagner on Saturday night.
Wassinik completed his first nine passes, hitting Keishaw Watson for a pair of touchdowns, and finished 11 of 12 for 165 yards. He hit Mitch Heimbuch for an 11-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter for the freshman tight end's first career catch.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (AP) — Jon Wassink ran for a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns to lift Western Michigan to a come-from-behind win over Idaho, 37-28 Saturday night.
Matt Linehan scrambled in from 3 yards out to put the Vandals in the lead, 21-19 with 3:39 left in the third quarter, then made it a 28-19 advantage by hitting Alfonso Onunwor with a 39-yard scoring strike with 1:03 left in the period.
