CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Grant Riller scored ten of his 33 points in overtime as Charleston rallied to beat Northeastern 88-79 on Saturday afternoon.
Riller, who was 11 of 16 from the field, nailed two treys in the extra period to help the Cougars win overtime 19-10.
Charleston, which trailed 52-42 midway in the second half, rallied to take a 69-67 lead with 1:04 left.
Roland lifts Northeastern past UNC-Wilmington 81-77
WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) — Jordan Roland had 19 points as Northeastern narrowly beat UNC Wilmington 81-77 on Thursday night. Donnell Gresham Jr. added 17 points for the Huskies, while Bolden Brace chipped in 16. Brace also had six rebounds for the Huskies.
Anthony Green had 12 points and 11 rebounds for Northeastern (16-9, 10-3 Colonial Athletic Association), which won its fifth consecutive game.
Northeastern shuts out Elon in OT, wins 72-60
BOSTON (AP) — Vasa Pusica had 23 points and Northeastern shut out Elon in overtime for a 72-60 victory on Saturday.
Jordan Roland added 21 points for the Huskies, while Bolden Brace chipped in 20 points and 14 rebounds.
Steven Santa Ana's layup tied the game for Elon at 60 with 1:57 to play. Each team missed two shots down the stretch before Pusica's shot was off at the buzzer.

It was just the Huskies' third-ever win over William & Mary in Williamsburg. They beat the Tribe there by the same 90-70 score last year shooting 71 percent from the field. Saturday they shot 60 percent (33 of 55) including 12 of 25 from 3-point range and made 12 of 14 foul shots.
