INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Kamar Baldwin scored 30 points, Jordan Tucker added 24 and Butler held off St. John's for an 80-71 win on Saturday.
The Bulldogs (12-7, 3-3 Big East) had their largest lead after a 17-2 run made it 58-36 early in the second half, but the Red Storm (15-4, 3-4) scored 12 straight in one run and six straight in another to close within 73-69 with 50 seconds remaining. Butler made 7 of 8 free throws from there to secure the victory.
Seton Hall holds off Butler 76-75 behind Powell’s 31 points

Baldwin scores 28, Butler beats Creighton 84-69
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Kamar Baldwin scored a season-high 28 points and Butler defeated Creighton 84-69 on Saturday to end a two-game skid.
Baldwin was 11-of-18 shooting with three 3-pointers and seven assists before leaving with 1:44 remaining after he was inadvertently struck in the face by Creighton's Damien Jefferson going for a rebound.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Paul Jorgensen made five 3-pointers and scored 19 points with seven rebounds and Butler defeated UC Irvine 71-54 on Friday night for the Bulldogs' 50th consecutive nonconference home victory.
Butler (9-3) improved to 7-0 at home this season and ended UC Irvine's streak of 10 straight road victories, which had been the nation's second-longest streak behind Virginia's 11.
McDermott leads Butler past Northern Illinois 95-68

Jorgensen scores 19, Butler beats Brown 70-55
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Paul Jorgensen scored 10 of his 19 points in the first four minutes of the second half and Butler beat Brown 70-55 on Wednesday night.
Butler went on an 16-3 run to take its first double-digit lead of the game with 11:14 remaining in the first half and the Bulldogs kept at least a 14-point lead throughout the second half.
Kamar Baldwin and Henry Baddley each scored 12 points for Butler (6-2). Baddley, a junior, reached double-digit scoring for the fourth time in his career.
Saint Louis uses 17-0 run to defeat Butler 64-52
ST. LOUIS (AP) — The memories of falling to Butler by 30 points last season still remained fresh in Javon Bess' head as he took the court on Saturday with the task of guarding Bulldogs leading scorer Kamar Baldwin.
Bess held Baldwin to six points and added 18 points of his own in Saint Louis' 64-52 win over Butler on Saturday.

Providence trailed 29-25 at halftime but made its first eight shots of the second half. Alpha Diallo scored five straight Friar points and Cartwright went on a personal 7-0 run for a 38-31 lead. INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Kelan Martin scored a career-high 37 points and Butler snapped a three-game losing streak by beating Marquette 94-83 on Friday night.

Butler fends off scrappy Princeton for 85-75 victory
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Kelan Martin had a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds and Butler held off feisty Princeton 85-75 on Sunday in the Tigers' season opener.
Kamar Baldwin's jumper with 16:01 left to play gave the Bulldogs a 50-38 lead, but Princeton methodically began chipping away and drew to 68-64 10 minutes later. After Mike LeBlanc's jumper with 3:39 left, Butler used an 8-2 run to create a safe cushion and held on for the win.
