SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) — Deishuan Booker scored 23 points including a key 3-pointer in overtime to help Long Beach State beat Cal Poly 76-69 on Saturday night and snap a six-game losing skid.
The 49ers outscored Cal Poly 14-6 in the extra period. Booker's 3 gave Long Beach State a four-point lead with about a minute left.
Temidayo Yussuf added 10 points and 12 rebounds for the 49ers (9-16, 3-6 Big West Conference). Mason Riggins chipped in 13 points.
Diane leads Cal State Northridge in 83-65 rout of Cal Poly
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Lamine Diane had 22 points and 11 rebounds to lead Cal State Northridge in an 83-65 rout of Cal Poly on Saturday night.
Rodney Henderson Jr. added 14 points and Terrell Gomez had 13 for CSUN (10-13, 4-3 Big West Conference), which has won two of its last three games. Darius Brown II and Cameron Gottfried had 11 points apiece. Brown had a game-high eight assists.
Garrick, Alexander lead Cal Poly past UC Riverside
RIVERSIDE, Calif. (AP) — Marcellus Garrick had 18 points on six 3-pointers, Job Alexander added 15 points, six rebounds and six assists and Cal Poly used a big second-half to defeat UC Riverside 71-45 on Thursday night.
The Mustangs led 28-25 at halftime then shot 57 percent and scored 43 points in the second half. Cal Poly's 19-3 run to open the second half put the game well in hand, 47-28 with 11:55 remaining.
UC Davis gets first Big West win, 75-63 over Cal Poly
DAVIS, Calif. (AP) — Siler Schneider scored 23 points and UC Davis ran away late to beat Cal Poly 75-63 on Saturday night for its first Big West Conference win.
The game was tied at 55 with five minutes left. Matt Neufeld completed a 3-point play, Schneider added a layup and free throw, and Joe Mooney capped the Aggies' 9-0 surge with another 3-point play. Kuba Niziol's 3-pointer pulled Cal Poly to 68-61 with 1:17 left. Neufeld dunked on the next possession and the Mustangs didn't get closer.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) — Marcellus Garrick scored 13 of his 19 points in the first half and finished 5 of 10 from 3-point range to help Cal Poly beat Division II Holy Names 68-47 on Friday night.
Donovan Fields scored nine of his 17 points in the first four minutes of the second half while Cal Poly (4-9) pulled away to a 45-26 lead. The Mustangs had their largest lead of 23 shortly before the final buzzer.
Mark Crowe added 13 for the Cal Poly, which had 13 steals while the Hawks had none.

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Without a big name or a top-25 national ranking for the moment, the Arizona Wildcats are searching for an identity.
They've got a couple of upperclassmen who transferred from elsewhere that could help.

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) — Donovan Fields scored 12 points and Josh Martin got his fifth career double-double to help Cal Poly snap a five-game skid with a 73-40 win over Division II Notre Dame de Namur on Saturday night.
Martin had 11 rebounds to go with 10 points, Victor Joseph added 11 points and Marcellus Garrick also finished with 10 points for Cal Poly, which controlled the glass 42-30.
Hollingsworth leads Cal Poly to 76-47 win over Holy Names
