Chargers-Ravens in wild card is rematch of late-season game
BALTIMORE (AP) — It's been six years since the Ravens hosted a playoff game, so forgive Pro Bowl guard Marshal Yanda for forgetting protocol regarding the distribution of tickets.
"Somebody was asking me if we got tickets during the playoff games, and I couldn't really remember," he said this week. "I was like, 'Uh, it's been a little while.'"
Ravens thrive behind contribution of Jackson, rookie class
OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) — Lamar Jackson has gotten most of the headlines, yet the former Louisville quarterback is merely one of several rookies whose contributions have helped the Baltimore Ravens move within striking distance of the AFC North title.
Yanda insists his spit was not directed at Bengals player
OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) — Baltimore Ravens guard Marshal Yanda vehemently denies he spit in the face of a Bengals player at the end of a scrum last Sunday.
After a video circulated this week that showed spit dropping from Yanda's face toward prone linebacker Vontaze Burfict, some suggested the act was intentional.
Yanda said Wednesday that he would never do such a thing.
OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) — Ravens coach John Harbaugh is reaping some health benefits with the return of Pro Bowl guard Marshal Yanda.

Ravens can expect a world of different things in London
OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) — Brandon Carr knows all about playing an NFL game in London, so he's been a source of information this week for his Baltimore Ravens teammates preparing to make the trip for the first time.
The Ravens (2-0) leave for England on Thursday night. They will practice there Friday and Saturday before facing the Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) on Sunday at historic Wembley Stadium.
Ravens will rely on defense as offense adjusts without Yanda
BALTIMORE (AP) — The Baltimore Ravens continue to play smart and aggressively on defense, a trait that probably won't change anytime soon.
Despite forcing 10 turnovers in two games, including five in 24-10 win over Cleveland on Sunday, the unit isn't satisfied.
"We've got a good thing going," said newcomer Brandon Carr, who has two interceptions, "and we're going to try to get better every day."
Ravens force 5 turnovers in 24-10 win over Browns
BALTIMORE (AP) — The Ravens are making a habit of converting turnovers into victories.
Baltimore relentlessly harassed two Cleveland quarterbacks, Joe Flacco ramped up his production with a pair of touchdown passes and the Ravens breezed past the Browns 24-10 on Sunday.
Building on their season-opening shutout at Cincinnati, the Ravens picked off four passes and forced a fumble — giving them 10 takeaways in two games.
BALTIMORE (AP) — During a summer in which much of the focus has been on players who aren't on the field, the Baltimore Ravens hope to make an impression with their performance in a game situation.
Problem is, many of the stars the Ravens will be counting on won't be dressed for the preseason opener against the Washington Redskins on Thursday night.

Yanda has been dealing with a shoulder injury for much of the season. He returned from a two-game absence to play last week against Pittsburgh.
Baltimore's inactive list also includes cornerback Shareece Wright and tight end Crockett Gillmore, both of whom have thigh injuries.
