Konchar carries Purdue Fort Wayne over Denver 94-81
DENVER (AP) — John Konchar had 29 points and a career-high 14 assists as Purdue Fort Wayne defeated Denver 94-81 on Thursday night. Matt Holba added 22 points for the Mastodons.
Konchar made 10 of 11 from the free throw line. He added seven rebounds.
Kason Harrell had 15 points for Purdue Fort Wayne (17-10, 9-3 Summit League), which earned its fifth consecutive win. Dee Montgomery added 13 points.
Godfrey perfect for Mastodons who withstand triple-double
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) — Jarred Godfrey scored 17 points on a perfect shooting night and Purdue Fort Wayne defeated Western Illinois 79-64 on Thursday despite Brandon Gilbeck's triple-double that featured 10 blocks.
Gilbeck's triple-double for the Leathernecks (8-16, 3-8) was the first in the Summit League since Nov. 30, 1991 with his 10 blocks tying for the most in a Division I game this season. He scored 10 points with 16 rebounds.
Holba’s 3 lifts Purdue Fort Wayne past Oral Roberts, 82-81
TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Matt Holba hit a 3-pointer with seven seconds left to lift Purdue Fort Wayne to its third straight Summit League victory, knocking off Oral Roberts, 82-81 on Saturday night.
The victory allowed the Mastodons to even the all-time series with Oral Roberts at 11 wins each. Purdue Fort Wayne now has won eight of the last nine meetings between the programs.

Kason Harrell added 16 points and John Konchar and Matt Weir had 15 apiece as the Mastodons (13-10, 5-3 Summit League) ended a three-game losing streak.
Ronnie Harrell Jr. had 24 points with four 3-pointers and 11 rebounds for the Pioneers (7-15, 2-6). Ade Murkey added 21 points.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) — Kason Harrell and John Konchar scored 23 points apiece and Matt Holba added 20 points to lead Purdue Fort Wayne to a 104-88 victory over South Dakota State on Thursday night.
Purdue Fort Wayne's first six baskets of the second half were 3-pointers — three of them from Holba — and the Mastodons went up 65-51. The lead reached 26 points with 8:34 remaining. The Mastadons shot 61 percent in the second half, made nine 3-pointers and scored 57 points.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) — Rob Whitfield scored 23 points, distributed six assists with four rebounds and three steals and UMKC erupted after halftime for a 90-73 win against Purdue Fort Wayne on Saturday.
The Kangaroos (2-7) have won both their games when scoring 90 or more. UMKC has won two of three after dropping six straight to start the season.

CLEVELAND (AP) — Matt Holba scored a career-high 21 and made the game-winning 3-pointer with 0.7 seconds left to give Purdue Fort Wayne an 82-79 win over Cleveland State on Sunday.
John Konchar drove left off Holba's screen and dished it back to Holba who was open at the top of the key after the pick-and-pop. The Mastodons' go-ahead basket came after the Vikings erased a 12-point deficit over the final six minutes.

Cunningham leads Dayton past Purdue Fort Wayne 91-80
DAYTON, Ohio (AP) — Josh Cunningham scored 20 points and Dayton moved to 3-0 to start the season as the Flyers came back from a halftime deficit to beat Purdue Fort Wayne, 91-80 on Friday night.
Dayton shot 60.7 percent from the field in the second half, roaring back from a 47-42 halftime deficit. Cunningham, Trey Landers and Jalen Crutcher each scored 11 points in the final 20 minutes.
