Colorado State welcomes back coach for opener
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — The Colorado State Rams won't be enjoying a cupcake schedule this season.
The Rams open against Mountain West Conference foe Hawaii on Saturday night, followed by a trip to the Denver Broncos' stadium for the Rocky Mountain Showdown with Colorado on Aug. 31.
The Rams then host the Arkansas Razorbacks on Sept. 8 and visit the Florida Gators on Sept. 15.

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Colorado State coach Mike Bobo remains hospitalized while doctors try to figure out why he has numbness in his feet and his coaching staff prepares for the Rams' opener against Hawaii this weekend.
Athletic director Joe Parker said Monday that Bobo has been transferred from Fort Collins to another hospital in Denver and continues to seek answers to his medical condition but "there is an expectation that any day now he could be discharged."

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Colorado State football coach Mike Bobo has been hospitalized to undergo a medical evaluation after experiencing numbness in his feet.
Bobo said in a statement Monday that he's "very encouraged by the test results to this point and hope to have some answers soon." But he gave no indication about how long he might be away from football.
His coaching staff is running practices in his absence.
