The Albert Einstein hospital said in a statement Thursday it had carried out tests on President Jair Bolsonaro after an isolated episode of fever Wednesday night.

Man tests positive for Legionnaires’, dies from pneumonia
HASTINGS, Mich. (AP) — A 92-year-old man has died from pneumonia after testing positive last month in a western Michigan hospital for Legionnaires' disease.
The man was treated at Spectrum Health Pennock Hospital in Hastings, southeast of Grand Rapids. He was discharged to a rehab center and later died.
The hospital tested its water system on Dec. 12 after the man's positive test for Legionnaires' was confirmed. Tests results of the system were positive for Legionella bacteria.

The company said the Food and Drug Administration approved Nuzyra for treating bacterial pneumonia and severe skin infections.
North Dakota cuts bighorn licenses again as disease persists
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota's Game and Fish Department is issuing only three bighorn sheep hunting licenses this year because the western Badlands population is still dealing with a deadly bacterial pneumonia outbreak.
Biologists counted 77 rams in a summer survey, which was 12 fewer than last year and 27 fewer than in 2016, according to big game management biologist Brett Wiedmann. They also counted only four yearling rams.

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Public health authorities in New Hampshire say four people who have been identified with Legionnaire's disease likely acquired the disease in Hampton.
The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services' Division of Public Health Services says the four people likely acquired Legionella at the end of July or beginning of August in a localized area of Hampton. Legionnaire's disease, also called Legionella pneumonia, is a bacterial pneumonia.
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Visitors to Zion National Park in southern Utah are being asked to be on alert for something besides dramatic red rock vistas: Coughing bighorn sheep.
Excessive coughing is a symptom of pneumonia, which can be deadly to the animals, and wildlife officials are trying to determine how much the sickness has spread, said Zion spokeswoman Aly Baltrus. Iditarod dog with signs of pneumonia dies
JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — Alaska musher Katherine Keith has had dogs die in the last two Iditarod Trail Sled Dog races, but a race official said he could find no fault in how she cares for her team.
A release from the race said the 5-year-old dog named Blonde had been dropped from the competition Wednesday and was being treated for signs of pneumonia. Blonde died early Thursday. A necropsy is planned.
