Police: Suspicious item put on Xmas tree just before parade
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) — Police in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, have accused a man of attaching an item to the city's Christmas tree that resembled an explosive device, just before the start of a holiday parade.
Police determined the item placed on the tree Saturday was a hoax. The parade was held.
They arrested 36-year-old Richard Todd Will on charges of criminal threatening and disorderly conduct. He was released on bail and scheduled to be arraigned on Jan. 14.
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — The Jets called an aggressive audible by trading up to the No. 3 pick last month to assure themselves of getting one of the top quarterbacks available in the NFL draft.
Now comes the toughest play call of all.
Sam Darnold? Baker Mayfield? Josh Rosen? Josh Allen?
"You just want to get it right," general manager Mike Maccagnan said.
