Florida helicopter crash kills 2, injures 1
SEBRING, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a helicopter has crashed into a mobile home park in Florida, killing two and injuring another.
The Highlands County Sheriff's Office says in a statement on Twitter that the crash occurred Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities say two people in the helicopter were killed, and one person was injured on the ground. The injured person was taken to a hospital.

1 killed, 5 hurt when Florida National Guard vehicles crash
SEBRING, Fla. (AP) — The Florida National Guard says one soldier has been killed and five others injured in a three vehicle collision.
The Guard said in a news release that the crash happened Friday near Sebring.
The release says the soldiers were driving palletized load systems — heavy cargo vehicles similar to tractor-trailers — when they collided. No civilian vehicles were involved.
Richard Geise, 86, of Sebring, Fla., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at Lakeland Regional Hospital with his family by his side.
He was born in Rochester on April 4, 1931, to the late Dorothy and Donald Geise.

Florida Department of Health spokeswoman Mara Gambineri tells Orlando TV station WKMG the victim didn't seek treatment. She didn't identify the victim, who lived in Highlands County in southwest Florida, or say when the bite occurred or when the victim died.

Lloyd Thomas Byxbe, 85, of Baraboo, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 1, 2017.
Lloyd, son of Frederick and Mary Etta (Davis) Byxbe was born Oct. 18, 1931, in Greenville, Illinois. He served in the Army during the Korean War.
Vernetta Irene (Zentner) Prindle, 89, died March 18, 2017, in Sebring, Florida.
She was a 1945 graduate of Billings High School and married Gerald (Jerry) Prindle in 1946.
Ricky Taylor closes out 2nd huge win of SportsCar season
SEBRING, Fla. (AP) — Ricky Taylor closed out yet another huge win for Wayne Taylor Racing by guiding the team to its first victory in the Twelve Hours of Sebring.
Taylor also was the closing driver two months ago as the team won the IMSA SportsCar championship season-opening Rolex 24 at Daytona. The lineup Saturday included Taylor's younger brother, Jordan, and British driver Alexander Lynn.
SEBRING, Fla. (AP) — Cadillac dominated the season-opening IMSA SportsCar championship race. It didn't seem that would change at the Twelve Hours of Sebring, where the three new Cadillac DPi cars led the Prototype class by pacing the leaderboard in three of the four practice sessions.
Then the qualifying session produced record-breaking speeds and a surprise pole winner.
