TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Georgia Tech coach Josh Pastner wanted to "muck it up" against Florida State. The Seminoles waded through the mud, all right, but came out looking fine.
Florida State defeated Georgia Tech 59-49 for its third straight victory Saturday, with Mfiondu Kabengele and Terance Mann scoring 12 points each.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Mfiondu Kabengele and Terance Mann each scored 12 points, and No. 25 Florida State won its third straight game Saturday with a 59-49 victory over Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets failed to score in the last 4:14.
This was the lowest point total by a Florida State opponent this season and it ties the lowest output by Georgia Tech in a game this season.
Z-eye-on: Williamson starting for No. 1 Duke after eye poke
DURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Freshman sensation Zion Williamson is back in the starting lineup for top-ranked Duke, two days after he was poked in the eye during a game.
Williamson was the last Duke player out for pregame warmups before Monday night's game against Syracuse. He loosened up with no apparent issues roughly an hour before tipoff and was announced as a starter about 30 minutes later.
Forrest leads No. 11 Florida State past Southeast Missouri
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Trent Forrest scored a career high 23 points and freshman Devin Vassell added 16 as No. 11 Florida State recovered from a sluggish first half and beat Southeast Missouri 85-68 on Monday night.
Forrest shot 8 for 12 from the floor, and had a team-high eight rebounds and four assists to help the Seminoles (9-1) win their fourth straight.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Trent Forrest didn't have a point, rebound or assist in the second half. Not until the game was on the line and he made all the plays Florida State needed.
Forrest forced a turnover with 16 seconds left and, after a timeout, drove the lane to hit a pull-up jumper with 5.2 seconds remaining as the No. 15 Seminoles stormed back to beat No. 19 Purdue 73-72 on Wednesday night.
The junior point guard also had a steal in the final seconds to wrap up the win.
Savoy helps No. 17 Florida State beat Florida 81-60
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Florida State reached the Elite Eight in March with a tenacious defense. The Seminoles opened the season with more of the same, frustrating their in-state rival from the opening tip.
P.J. Savoy scored 20 points with five 3-pointers, Trent Forrest added 13 points and five assists, and No. 17 Florida State opened with an 81-60 win over Florida on Tuesday night.

Florida State announces guard CJ Walker leaving program
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Florida State says point guard CJ Walker is leaving the program.
Coach Leonard Hamilton said in a statement on Tuesday that Walker asked for the release and that he appreciated his contributions over the past two seasons.
The 6-foot-1 sophomore started 34 of 35 games for the Seminoles, who lost to Michigan in the West Region final.

Hamilton's Florida State team trailed 11th-ranked Clemson by 18 early in the second half on Wednesday but rallied to send it into overtime before winning 81-79.
Mann out for No. 23 Florida State due to concussion
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Terance Mann, Florida State's leading scorer, is out for Saturday's game against Syracuse due to a concussion.
Mann suffered the concussion late in the second half of the 23rd-ranked Seminoles' loss to Louisville on Wednesday. The 6-foot-6 junior tied a career high with 25 points in the defeat.
Angola scores 18, Florida State defeats Tulane 72-53
TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Braian Angola had 18 points and a career-high eight rebounds to lead Florida State to a 72-53 win over Tulane on Sunday.
Florida State (9-0) jumped out to a 21-7 lead midway through the first half after a 10-0 run. Tulane (7-3) answered with a 10-2 run to close to gap to 23-17 but the Seminoles scored the final six points of the half to take a 29-17 lead.
Bacon scores 17, leads No. 25 Florida State over Illinois
NEW YORK (AP) — Leonard Hamilton has a problem.
