Trump says he met with New York Times publisher, discussed fake news
President Trump said Sunday he met with New York Times’ publisher Arthur Gregg Sulzberger and discussed “Fake News.”
Mr. Sulzberger became publisher of the paper in January of 2018, succeeding his father.
“Had a very good and interesting meeting at the White House with A.G. Sulzberger, Publisher of the New York Times. Spent much time talking about the vast amounts of Fake News being put out by the media how that Fake News has morphed into phrase, “Enemy of the People.” Sad!” Mr. Trump tweeted Sunday morning.
The New York Times did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
