City of Aiken’s Trunk or Treat event is coming up Oct. 27

October 2, 2018

The City of Aiken’s Trunk or Treat event will happen on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Citizen’s Park.

From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., parents can take their children to Fields one through five at Citizen’s Park to go trunk or treating and to play carnival games.

Children who want to go trunk-or-treating must be no older than 12 and accompanied by an adult to participate. Cost is $1 per child. Drinks and concessions will be available for purchase at the event.

Family-friendly costumes are strongly encouraged for adults and children, but pets are not welcome at trunk-or-treat.

The City of Aiken Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department is still looking for sponsors for this year’s trunk-or-treat event. If interested in sponsorship or want to learn more about Trunk or Treat, contact Mary Rosbach at 803-642-7634.

Current sponsors are Security Federal Bank and Millbrook Baptist Church.
