Truck reportedly overturned in Brookfield

BROOKFIELD — Danbury fire units were called to Brookfield for a mutual aid request Friday morning after a truck overturned and the driver was stuck in the vehicle, according to dispatch reports.

Shortly before 9:30 a.m., dispatch reports indicated Brookfield first responders needed assistance with a major accident on Tommys Lane, near its intersection with Mist Hill Drive. Reports indicate it might have been an oil truck.

By 9:35 a.m., Brookfield units told Danbury firefighters that they were able to get the driver out of the truck.
