UNDATED — Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez is beginning a final tour of potential 2020 convention cities as he tries to give his party its best shot at toppling President Donald Trump. The DNC chairman, who already has set the 2020 convention for July 13-16, is expected in early 2019 to announce his choice among finalists Houston, Miami and Milwaukee. By Bill Barrow. CAPE CANAVERAL — After a two-year chase, a NASA spacecraft arrived Monday at the ancient asteroid Bennu, its first visitor in billions of years. The robotic explorer Osiris-Rex, right on cue, pulled within 12 miles (19 kilometers) of the diamond-shaped space rock. It will get even closer in the days ahead and actually go into orbit around Bennu on Dec. 31. No spacecraft has ever orbited such a small cosmic body. By Marcia Dunn. OVERDOSE RESCUE — Deputies in Florida rescued the same overdose victim twice in 12 hours. Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staley said in a news release that deputies used Narcan to revive the man.

TEXAS-ADJUTANT GENERAL — An Iraq War veteran with more than 30 years of military service has been named the first female Adjutant General of Texas.

STATE TROOPER-CRASH — The Florida Highway Patrol says a trooper has been seriously injured while investigating a crash along Interstate 95.

HARD ROCK CASINO-GUITAR — A guitar-shaped hotel tower rising in the south Florida sky isn’t a hit with everyone.

DEPUTY SHOOTING-PSYCHIATRIC PATIENT — Deputies fatally shot a psychiatric patient who they say was threatening to harm people with a sharp piece of glass at a South Florida behavioral health center.

FAKE COCAINE — A New York man has been sentenced to prison for trying to sell seven kilograms of fake cocaine to an undercover agent in Delaware.

JUVENILES ESCAPE — Authorities are searching for two teens who escaped through a classroom window of a South Florida juvenile detention center.
