RICHMOND, Va. (AP) _ A teacher and a second school employee were shot and wounded today in a high school hallway. Two suspects were taken into custody.

Police said the male teacher and a female school employee were wounded around 10 a.m. as students took final exams at Armstrong High School on Richmond's east end. Neither injury was life-threatening. The man was shot in the abdomen, and the woman suffered only a graze wound, authorities said.

Police did not have a motive for the shooting, and it was unclear whether the suspects, both males, were students.

It was the latest in a spate of school shootings since October, including fatal shootings in West Paducah, Ky.; Pearl, Miss.; Jonesboro, Ark.; and Springfield, Ore.
