Gas prices fall a bit in northern New England

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Gas prices have dipped a bit in northern New England.

The latest GasBuddy survey shows the average price for a gallon of gas is $2.63 in New Hampshire, down 1.6 cents from last week. Prices in Maine and Vermont dropped just under a penny to $2.70 and $2.71 a gallon, respectively.

The national average price of gasoline fell 3.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.76. The national average is up 10,9 cents per gallon from a month ago, yet stands 6.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
