Input sought on Lawrence County bridge project

August 21, 2018

PROCTORVILLE, Ohio - The Ohio Department of Transportation is seeking public input on a bridge replacement project on Ohio 775 in Lawrence County, according to a release.

The proposed project calls for the replacement of a bridge at the 14.36 mile marker over a tributary of Long Creek between County Road 2 (Greasy Ridge Road) and County Road 13, (Long Creek Road) in Windsor Township.

The project requires the acquisition of about .02 of an acre of permanent right of way. No homes or businesses will be removed as a result of the construction, according to the release.

A proposed contract calls for the project to be awarded in the summer of 2019 and a closure of the section of the road for about 10 days while the bridge is replaced.
