“Today, not having a vulnerability disclosure policy amounts to cybersecurity negligence,” said Marten Mickos, CEO of HackerOne. “Every year at Security@ San Francisco, we bring together some of the most advanced security teams and hackers to share learnings and best practices. The more organizations are encouraged to share information, the faster the cybersecurity industry as a whole can evolve. HackerOne is proud to be spearheading openness in an industry hungry for innovation.”

Last year HackerOne hosted over 250 security professionals from the public and private sector for a full day of sessions related to hacker-powered security. Previous speakers included security leaders from General Motors, Google, Defense Digital Service, Coinbase, John Hancock, and others. Security@ San Francisco 2017 sessions can be viewed here.
