Kankakee police arrested Erick Cintron-Gonzalez, 30, of Kankakee, for aggravated battery on May 2. According to police, Cintron-Gonzalez is accused of stabbing a man during an altercation at No Dogs, 293 S. Schuyler Ave., at 2:19 a.m. April 20. A prosecutor said Cintron-Gonzalez and the victim got into a fight earlier in the bar. A judge set Cintron-Gonzalez’s bond at $25,000 on Monday.
Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group arrested David Cortez Saulsberry, 27, of Bradley, for possession of cannabis with intent to deliver on May 2. According to a release, at 5:31 p.m., agents executed a search warrant at a home in the 700 block of Meadow Court in Bradley. They recovered 53.5 ounces (1,517 grams) of suspected cannabis products.
Kankakee Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group arrested Makala Joi Miles, 25, of Kankakee, for possession of cannabis with intent to deliver and obstruction of justice on May 2. According to a release, at 3:13 p.m., agents made a traffic stop near the intersection of East Court Street and South Gordon Avenue in Kankakee. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of 3.21 pounds of suspected cannabis.
Kankakee police took a report from a man who said while he was playing a video poker machine at a business in the 1800 block of South Schuyler Avenue someone took $160 in cash that he had placed next to the machine he was seated at. Also missing was the victim’s bank card.
Kankakee County Sheriff’s police arrested Demarlo R. Crawford, 31, for possession of a firearm by a felon and filing a false police report on April 30. According to police, Crawford reported he was the alleged victim of a shooting at a Pembroke Township business on April 14. Investigators learned Crawford accidentally shot himself. A judge set Crawford’s bond at $50,000.
