WBO champion Crawford to fight Beltran on Nov. 29
OMAHA, Nebraska (AP) — WBO lightweight champion Terence “Bud” Crawford will fight top contender Ray Beltran on Nov. 29 at CenturyLink Center in Omaha.
Boxing promoter Top Rank made the announcement on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old Crawford has a record of 24-0, with 17 knockouts. He successfully defended his title on June 28 in his hometown of Omaha, knocking out previously undefeated world champion Yuriorkis Gamboa.
Beltran is 33, and has a record of 29-6-1, with 17 knockouts. He won a 12-round unanimous decision against Arash Usmanee on April 12 in Las Vegas.
