Dead and Company announce June concerts at the Gorge
Just a few months after the band played the Gorge Amphitheatre in June, Dead and Company, featuring the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir, Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart, has already announced a return trip.
The band, which also features John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti, will headline the Gorge on June 7 and 8 as part of its 2019 summer tour.

The band began to take shape after Mayer, hosting “The Late Late Show,” invited Weir to join him for a studio performance.
After Weir, Kreutzmann, Hart and former Grateful Dead member Phil Lesh completed “Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of the Grateful Dead,” the former three, Mayer, Burbridge and Chimenti, who also performed at the “Fare the Well” shows, formed Dead and Company.
Since hitting the road for the first time in 2015, the band has completed five tours, headlining venues like Madison Square Garden, Fenway Park and Dodger Stadium.
