Three-vehicle accident

No one was injured in a three-vehicle accident Sunday morning on North Center Avenue in Somerset Township.

Michael J. Cox, 33, of Somerset, was traveling north around 10:50 a.m. and attempted to merge into the turning lane, striking the rear of a second vehicle driven by Marina Fisher, 49, of Fairhope, state police said. Fisher’s vehicle then struck a third vehicle driven by Destiny School, 23, of Stoystown.

The three drivers and School’s passenger, an infant, were not injured. The crash happened 478 feet south of Masonic Temple Road, according to police.

Purse stolen

Someone stole a teal thirty-one brand purse that was accidentally left in the cart return at the Aldi grocery store along North Center Avenue in Somerset Township, according to state police. The theft took place on May 4. The purse belongs to a 31-year-old female.
