PRISTINA, Yugoslavia (AP) _ A World Food Program flight carrying 24 people from Rome to Pristina disappeared from radar screens today while over Kosovo, NATO officials said.

Maj. Peter Gothe said the aircraft disappeared at 12:30 p.m., between six and 12 miles north of Pristina.

The NATO-led peace force had three helicopter patrols looking for the plane and one medevac team standing by, Gothe said.

There was no other immediate information.
