Curo Group: 2Q Earnings Snapshot
WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ Curo Group Holdings Corp. (CURO) on Monday reported second-quarter net income of $16 million.
On a per-share basis, the Wichita, Kansas-based company said it had profit of 33 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 38 cents per share.
The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 37 cents per share.
The consumer finance company posted revenue of $249 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $238.7 million.
Curo Group expects full-year earnings in the range of $2.25 to $2.40 per share, with revenue in the range of $1.02 billion to $1.08 billion.
Curo Group shares have risen 86 percent since the beginning of the year.
