NEW BRITAIN, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a man has been charged with criminal homicide in the death of his girlfriend, whose body was found in a sport utility vehicle parked in the driveway of the suburban Philadelphia home they shared.

Forty-two-year-old Jason Lutey of New Britain was being held without bail on the charge in Bucks County jail Saturday.

Authorities say Central Bucks Regional Police were sent to the home after the death was reported shortly after 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Police said Lutey told them the victim was in the back of an SUV parked outside, and officers say the body of 46-year-old Colleen Patterson was found wrapped in a bloodstained cloth.

Court documents don't list an attorney for Lutey and phone numbers listed in his name were no longer in service.
