May 28, 2019

ASHLAND — Seventh and eighth grade students from Ashland Middle School sing for the residents of Morning Pointe of Russell, Kentucky.

The choir, under the direction of Karen Hopkins, performed throughout the Russell/Ashland area in order to rehearse for their upcoming spring concert.

“We are so grateful to be able to partner with local schools,” says Elizabeth Townsend, the executive director at the personal care community. “The residents really enjoy interacting with young people, and the students can learn so much from our residents.”
