Furbaby Rescue set to have a supply drive

September 6, 2018

NORFOLK - A supply drive for Furbaby Rescue Midwest is set to take place this weekend.

Tammy Darville says Furbaby Rescue takes in stray animals and has them fully vetted and trained so they can be adopted.

Darville says they take in a wide range of animals.

“We’ve rescued horses, we’ve rescued owls, and we’ve rescued hawks. We have rehabilitated and nursed a lot of baby bunnies. The common thing (we see) is cats and dogs” Darville said.

She says they’re having a supply drive to help those rescued animals.

Darville says they need a variety of items including paper towels, Clorox wipes, cat and dog treats, and cat food.

It’s set for Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in front of Wal-Mart.
