Collins reflects on years with Western Land Services

May 24, 2019

Rich Collins has fully transitioned into a consulting role with Western Land Services after serving as the company’s president the past five years.

Collins, a Ludington native who was born-and-raised here, has worked for 30 years in the energy sector, starting his career with Western Land Services out of college, and returning in 2014 as the president.

“Tommy (Thompson) hired me right out of college,” Collins said. “At the time, his land manager was John (Wilson, the company’s current CEO).”
