Meeting set on Down syndrome programming

JEFFERSON -- The Madison Area Down Syndrome Society will hold an all-supported family meeting Wednesday, May 29, from 5-7 p.m. at the Jefferson Public Library, 321 S. Main St., Jefferson.

Parents and children are invited to attend. At the meeting, families can make their voices heard to help MADSS launch programming locally to support individuals with Down syndrome in Jefferson County.

“We are excited to expand programs and services for people with Down syndrome to Jefferson County, including fraternal support and programming, Parent’s First Call, medical outreach, educational programs, advocacy services and more,” stated a MADSS event flyer.
