Bush Honors Reagan’s Birthday
WASHINGTON (AP) _ President Bush signed a proclamation Thursday honoring former President Ronald Reagan’s 90th birthday.
In a telephone call to Reagan’s wife, Nancy, Bush said the proclamation passed by Congress was to ``honor him for his greatness ... and we honor you as well.″
He promised to send her the proclamation and the pen he used to sign it.
Reagan, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, turned 90 on Feb. 6.
