PHOENIX (AP) _ Outfielder Mark Little was traded for the second time in 17 days Friday, going from the New York Mets to the Arizona Diamondbacks for a player to be named.

Little, 30, was acquired along with pitcher John Thomson from the Colorado Rockies for three players on July 31.

Little will be assigned to Arizona's Triple-A team at Tucson and will join the team this weekend in Oklahoma City.

Little was 0-for-3 for the Mets before being sent to Triple-A Norfolk. He has a .249 average in 122 major league games.
