Raldex readying new corporate office in Florence

August 2, 2018

FLORENCE, S.C. — Raldex Hospitality Group is putting the finishing touches on a new corporate office at 780 Woody Jones Boulevard in Florence.

Raldex Hospitality owns and operates the Holiday Inn Express, Hilton Garden Inn and two Hampton Inn & Suites, one near the Florence Center and one on U.S. 52 in Florence.

Greg Parsons, president of Raldex, said the decision to build corporate offices had to do with the company’s desire to serve its team members, guests and the community.

“Raldex has grown as a company,” Parsons said. “We’re offering more benefits to our team members, and we’ve added positions. All of it is in the name of serving our members and guests better, but it has increased the need for space.”

Parsons said the previous headquarters of the company were inside the Hilton Garden Inn but the staff and operations had outgrown that space.

“The new space will help us spread out, be more organized and more efficient as a result,” Parsons said. “Everyone has the space to do their jobs now, and we will operate at a higher level as a company.”

Chad Patterson, vice president of Raldex, said the company wanted to keep its corporate offices close to Hospitality Boulevard.

“The location just seemed like the perfect place to put a new facility,” Patterson said. “It’s right there across from the Florence Center, which is doing great. But this right here is home. The ability to have our offices right here to serve our team members here in Florence where we all call home is fantastic. It’s a great area, we love what’s going on in Florence, and that’s why we wanted to place it where it is.”

The office will provide several services to its team members, including payroll, human resources, corporate sales, upkeep and more.

Patterson said Raldex continues to look for ways to be involved in the community.

“We love being part of the community,” Patterson said. “It’s important to our culture and to our team members. When your team members know that you’re playing an active part in the community, it increases morale and shows that we truly care about them, our guests and our community.

“The new office will also provide an aspect to where we can host some community events if we need to.”

Raldex will host a business-after-hours event in partnership with the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce on Aug. 16. There, the company will unveil its new corporate office space to business and local leaders.

Parsons said Raldex’s new hotel – the Staybridge Suites – is expected to open in about a month.

“We’ve had a lot of development these past three years,” Parsons said. “Between a complete refresh of our Hampton Inn-Florence Center and our Holiday Inn Express & Suites to rolling right into construction of our new offices and Staybridge Suites, we’ve had a lot going on. We’re ready to get back and settle into regular hotel operations. The future looks extremely bright for us.”

Both Parsons and Patterson said the company’s goal is to provide the best service possible and continue to invest in the Pee Dee region.

“The No. 1 thing that we do is for our guests and for our team members,” Patterson said. “They are the most important part of our organization and that’s what we do all of this for. It’s great to be able to invest money right back in the community. That’s what we come to work for every single day.”

“We’re in the service industry,” Persons said, “and that’s our culture: service to our guests, team members and to the community.”
