Street shooting leaves 2 hospitalized, home damaged
PENN HILLS, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a street shooting in western Pennsylvania that left a man and a teenage boy hospitalized also damaged a home.
The shooting in Penn Hills was reported around 8:50 p.m. Tuesday. Emergency responders found a 19-year-old man who had been shot in the head and leg and a 17-year-old boy who had been shot in the right arm.
Both were taken to hospitals. They are expected to recover from their wounds, but their names and further details on the shooting were not disclosed.
A nearby house was also struck by gunfire. But no one inside the home was injured.
A motive for the shooting has not been determined.
